White Hart Inn

Liked that The White Hart was in close proximity to the Iron bridge & overlooking the river. Also close to shops/cafes, pubs/restaurants, an antique centre, museums, a lovely park and easy car parking nearby. Loved the old fashioned, characterful decor & furniture in the pub/restaurant. Bedroom of room 7 nicely decorated, with very large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was particularly characterful & spacious. Excellent cooked breakfast and good evening meal during our stay with lovely staff. Good tea/coffee making facility in room, with spares in baskets in entrance area. Iron/ironing board and hoover in the entrance hall area leading to these two rooms also.

I was arriving very late and the staff sent clear information to enable my easy access ahead of time via email with plenty of notice. Everything was covered in the email. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet. Access to the pub/restaurant was extremely easy. The food and local drinks were exceptional. The staff could not have been more helpful. I immediately felt welcome, relaxed and the care they provided felt heartfelt. I would 100% stay again and recommend this as it is all walking distance from the famous iron bridge and near enough to Telford for a short commute. Parking is also very accessible and for the hours I stayed, free also. Great value for money, and a more authentic experience especially when compared with famous hotel chains.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the chicken Kiev i had on my final night there was without doubt the best i have ever had. The rooms were clean tidy and spacious with a very large shower room, the shower was particularly good. Good sized TV

Our room (7) exceeded our expectations. Bedroom was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful view over the River Severn and Ironbridge is just lovely. The bathroom....WOW.....absolutely gorgeous........roll top bath, fireplace, shower......again, spotlessly clean. It was a very warm time when we stayed and a fan had been provided which did the job and cooled us down. Well done to all the team as the weather was so hot whilst we were there but everything was perfect! Breakfast was delicious, lunch was a small snack which was tasty and the evening meal was superb.

Beautiful traditional inn, immaculately kept and tastefully decorated in keeping with the character of the building. Perfect location near the Iron Bridge, museums, walks, local cafes and shops. Stayed in a superior room with lovely views overlooking the river. Comfortable bed and great power shower. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. We had arrived early and our bags were taken up to our room for us until it was ready.
